According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2023, nearly 62 percent of respondents answered that the process of walking out to the main street to hail a taxi was the most problematic aspect of traditionally hailing taxis. The unpredictable nature of taxi hailing was another common inconvenience among the respondents.
