A 2023 survey revealed that third-party grocery delivery services like Instacart were the most popular way for Canadians to buy their groceries online, with 17 percent of respondents reporting to have used these services in the last three months. In comparison, only two percent of respondents reported getting their groceries from dark stores or online-only retailers in the same time frame.
