Topics that K-12 librarians would ban from their school libraries U.S. 2023
According to a survey conducted in 2023, 64 percent of library staff working in K-12 schools and districts, including librarians, library directors, and library assistants, said that they did not believe that any topics should be banned in libraries in their district or school. However, 18 percent said that they believed books depicting sexual violence and abuse should be banned in their district or school.
