Shoppers buying beauty & personal care items from creator recommendations U.S. 2023
A survey in 2023 found that content creators have a significant impact on the sale of beauty products, both online and at brick-and-mortar retail establishments. Female Gen Z consumers in the U.S. are most affected by influencer recommendations, as around 83 percent of them purchased beauty and personal care items online because of content creators on social media platforms. In comparison, roughly 60 percent of the general population was influenced to purchase said products on the internet because of influencers.
