The number of deals performed staggered throughout the five-year period between 2019 and 2024. A total of 526 investments were made in 2019 from the combined deal value of public pension funds (PPFs) and sovereign wealth funds (SWFs), this number peaked in 2021 with 892 investments made, however, the largest value of deals performed was reached the following year in 2022.
