As of December 2023, less than one-fifth (or 19 percent) of public relations (PR) agencies surveyed worldwide reported disclosing artificial intelligence (AI) usage to their clients all the time. Around 23 percent stated doing it some of the time, while 21 percent claimed never revealing AI use to customers. According to the same study, research and list building was the PR area most impacted by AI adoption according to professionals worldwide as of late 2023.
