In an online survey conducted in the United States in 2023, it was found that 36 percent of adults with educated to college level or higher reported that they used podcasts to get news at least sometimes, compared to just 24 percent of those who were not educated beyond high school level. Podcast news consumption grew overall, however, with adults from all educational backgrounds reporting higher consumption in 2023 than two years previously.
