According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in Taiwan in November 2023, around 78 percent of respondents aged 55 years or above said that they prefer an item they purchased online to be picked up from home if they need to return it. In comparison, only 58 percent of those between 16 and 24 years old chose this as their preferred method.

Among a total of 12,698 respondents, 2,704 were between 16 and 24 years old, 3,756 were between 25 and 34 years old, 3,307 were between 35 and 44 years old, 2,005 were between 45 and 54 years old, and 926 were above 54 years old.
