Over 70 percent of Russians stated that they had made their latest e-commerce purchase in a universal online store or marketplace in 2023. Examples of such stores in the country included Wildberries and Ozon. Furthermore, six percent of respondents shopped in an online store that belonged to an offline retail chain, while one percent purchased goods and services on social media.
