In Portugal, 52 percent of survey respondents reported that they were not sufficiently informed about new car regulations. These regulations include the planned ban on internal combustion vehicle sales in certain regions of the world and traffic restrictions. In addition, 45 percent of survey participants felt not sufficiently informed about car price trends.

Respondents came from national samples from each country. The quota approach was employed to ensure that the sample was representative of gender and age.
