In Portugal, as of 2024, internet's penetration rate was the highest in Península de Setúbal, reaching 95.3 percent. Following, Oeste e Vale do Tejo presented a penetration rate of almost 86 percent, while Alentejo stayed in the lowest position, with 85.4 percent of its population using the internet. Overall, almost 89 percent of people in Portugal used the internet.
