During a June 2020 survey, registered voters of varying age groups in the United States were asked whether they are more or less enthusiastic about voting in the upcoming elections than those of previous years. The age group of 65 and older respondents was the only one to have a majority say that they were more enthusiastic about voting in this year's election than they have been in previous years, at 59 percent.
