According to a survey from October to November 2023, the most frequent obstacle to the implementation of Industry 4.0 in Slovakia was the high price of the offered solutions. This share amounted to 59 percent. For 44 percent of the companies, insufficient level of skills and knowledge of its workers was an issue, while for nearly a third of the enterprises, Industry 4.0 was not a priority for top management.
