According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2020, around 66 percent of respondents between the ages of 25 to 29 years stated that they had gotten cosmetic plastic surgery for their own personal satisfaction. This was the most common motivation across all age groups. While appearances being important in life was the second-most common sentiment across all ages, the youngest age group were significantly more concerned with this than their older counterparts.
