Paying bills online was the most popular online spending category in Belgium in 2022. 55 percent of Belgian respondents to a European survey indicated that they paid bills for expenses such as phone plans, insurance, and utilities online in the past six months. Clothing and accessories were also a popular online spending category in Belgium, with 54 percent of consumers buying fashion items online.
