Number of student visa issuances to Indian students FY 2019-H1 FY 2023
In the first half of 2023, the visa issuances to Indian students from four leading destinations amounted to over 348 thousand. Visa issuances significantly picked up during the COVID-19 pandemic. Countries like the USA, Canada, the UK, and Australia are the major destinations preferred by Indian students for pursuing oversees education.
