According to a survey conducted from October to November 2023, almost half of respondents in Japan preferred to resell their apparel items that are no longer needed through flea market apps. The second most popular choice was to use thrift stores for this purpose, with around 48 percent of the respondents choosing this option. In contrast, only 2.9 percent of the respondents stated to resell items through pawn shops.
