Platforms used to stream local news in the U.S. 2023, by age group

According to a survey conducted in the United States in 2023, younger generations were more likely to stream local news than older generations. While 32 percent of surveyed respondents aged between 25 and 34 didn't stream local news, this share was twice as high among respondents aged 65 years and older. The most popular platform used for streaming local news content was a FAST app, whereas free streaming news apps were the least used.
