In 2023, the South Korean Won (KRW) was the leading currency in the social bonds market, with an issuance amounting to over 40 billion U.S. dollars. The U.S. dollars was the second preferred currency for social bonds, closely following the KRW, and also amounting to over 40 billion U.S. dollars.
