Number of political cyberattacks launched by China 2023, by attack characteristic
In 2023, cyber threat actors in China launched 13 cyberattacks with a political dimension against other countries. Seven of these attacks were non-politicized attacks on political targets. Furthermore, five cyberattacks initiated by China were directed at critical infrastructure targets.
