Since its launch in 2022, the business-to-business (B2B) service of ManoMano has expanded in the United Kingdom. Over 500 sellers offer their products on the home improvement and DIY marketplace, where the number of signups increased by 73 percent in the first quarter of 2023 compared to the previous quarter. A significant share of signups (22 percent) is made by trade generalists - professionals operating in many fields. Carpenters follow with nine percent of registrations as of March 2023. The B2B segment contributes to the presence of ManoMano in the UK homeware sector.

The homeware unicorn in European e-commerce

Founded in 2013 in Paris, ManoMano now ranks among the leading e-commerce unicorns in Europe, with a valuation estimated to be higher than other popular competitors like Vestiaire Collective or Ankorstore. In France, where the company has its headquarters, the e-commerce platform reaches a monthly traffic of nearly 17 million users, while the mobile app ranks among the most downloaded shopping apps in 2022.

From France to Spain

ManoMano’s expansion strategy led the company to a large foreign market: Spain. The marketplace first appeared in the ranking of most visited e-commerce sites thanks to an intense investment period in 2021 and 2022. This induced Spanish marketers and businesses to consider ManoMano a relevant player for their local marketing campaigns, using it as an advertising platform for their products. In 2022, the e-commerce site made up over four percent of local channel feeds.
