Features relating to the core processes of the trading apps, such as creating an account, adding money, and reviewing transaction history all ranked highly among respondents, predominantly receiving a score of 4.6. Less influential features such as using a demo account and engaging with a community received lower scores of importance from both groups.

Survey respondents were located in the United Kingdom, ranging from 18 to 75 years old. Each respondent was a user of a trading app with varying portfolio values and goals.
Respondents were asked to score the importance of an app feature from one to five. One being unimportant and five being important.
