Number of 5G base stations in European Union (EU) countries 2023

The source adds the following information: "The data for Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Greece, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Slovenia and Sweden was collected between September - October 2023. The data for Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Netherlands, Croatia, Ireland, Malta, Slovakia and Spain was based on the latest available data from January - March 2023. The data for Luxembourg was collected from the end of December 2022. The data for Finland, France and Portugal was collected from the end of August 2022. The figures are indicative and do not engage the responsibility of the 5G Observatory or any other parties. The data on the number of operating 5G base stations in dedicated non-pioneer bands is only collected from September 2023 onwards and only involves Bulgaria, Czechia, Germany, Denmark, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Sweden and Slovenia."
