Across all age ranges, what may be considered the fundamental features required for the operation of a trading app, received the highest rating of ease. Account creation received a low of 4.2 from respondents in the 65 to 74-year-old category and a high of 4.4 from three other age segments. The feature of adding money scored 4.5 unanimously across all respondent's categories. Other features such as setting a risk profile were ranked as more difficult, receiving a score ranging from 2.3 to 2.9.

Survey respondents were located in the United Kingdom ranging from 18 to 75
years old. Each respondent was a user of a trading app with varying portfolio values and goals.
Respondents were asked to score the ease of using specific app features from one to five. One being difficult and five being easy.
