During an August 2023 survey among chief marketing officers (CMOs) in Canada and the United States, around 78 percent of respondents said that achieving sustainability is critical or important within their businesses and that some (55 percent) or all (23 percent) of their strategic priorities have been adjusted in accordance with it. Only four percent of respondents said sustainability was not a priority, and their priorities had not yet shifted.
