During an August 2023 survey among chief marketing officers (CMOs) in Canada and the United States, around 30 percent of respondents said their marketing budget would increase between five and 10 percent during the next 12 months. The share of interviewees thinking the budget would stay flat stood at 13 percent, while overall, respondents who thought it would decline amounted to only eight percent.
