In 2022, the installed renewable energy capacity in the Nordic countries surpassed 100 gigawatts, recording a year-over-year growth of 7.2 percent. Norway had the highest renewable capacity at the time, with nearly 40 gigawatts. Sweden ranked second, with some 38 gigawatts.
