During a poll in early November 2023, current president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, has a 90 percentage points advantage over the candidate in second place. In order to avoid a second round the candidate needs 50 percent of the votes plus one. The first round will be held on Sunday, February 4th, 2024.
