In the first half of 2023, the share of downloads per app category on Android devices was highest for fashion apps worldwide, with around 34 percent. Business to consumer (B2C) retailers had the second highest share of downloads, with a little less than a fourth of all downloads, while apps related to furniture and home design had the least amount of downloads, with just over two percent.
