According to a 2023 survey on public views on sustainability in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, 39 percent of respondents believed that technology companies were among the most responsible in terms of sustainability practices. Sustainability practices requiring low to medium effort were prioritized by respondents.

Survey sample was equally distributed across six MENA countries: Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Qatar, and UAE.
Survey question was as follows: "When thinking about each of the sectors below, which do you consider to be the most responsible in terms of positively benefiting the environment through sustainable practices?"
