UAE retail sales volume growth 2017-2026
The volume of retail sales in the United Arab Emirates in 2026 is expected to increase by 2.7 percent. In 2021, the estimated retail sales growth volume in the United Arab Emirates was 7.7 percent. This was the highest single year growth between 2017 and 2021. 2020 was the only year during the period to record a depreciation in the volume of retail sales, which was estimated at negative 9.7 percent. Growth after 2021 is forecasted to be higher relative to previous years, but still below the peak of 7.7 percent in 2021.
