During a May 2023 survey among the general population of select countries worldwide, 94 percent of respondents in South Korea said that country of origin is a determining factor when considering a purchase of a brand product, and it is enough to deter them from purchasing altogether. Another 93 percent of respondents in China believed the same; in Japan, the same value stood at 87 percent.
