France plans to decrease its final energy consumption from over 1.8 petawatt-hours in 2021 to approximately 1.5 petawatt-hours in 2030. According to the country's 2030 energy transition targets, fossil fuels will still account for 47 percent of the final energy consumed in France in 2030, down from over 60 percent in 2021.
