According to a 2023 survey of parents in the United Kingdom, around 90 percent of parents set rules about their children's phone use. Overall, 57 percent of parents reported setting rules about who they children can contact online. Less than two parents in 10 reported having no rules when it came to controlling their children's online usage via smartphone.
