As of February 2023, almost half of all children apps did not have a child policy, but were reported collecting some form of PI/is. Around 23 percent of apps reported not being aimed at children, while five percent of the analyzed mobile apps asked permission to parents before downloading, or as an alternative they do not submit personal information.
