In 2022, there were 820 million transfers conducted via digital wallets in Saudi Arabia. This was the highest figure recorded in the period between 2018 and 2022. Since 2018, the number of transfers increased drastically each year. The biggest jump was seen in 2022 when there were more than 600 million additional transfers over the previous year.
