In recent years, consumers and retailers have become increasingly interested in Green Friday, an event that tries to go against over-consumption and focus more on consuming in a sustainable manner.

The source asked respondents if they agreed with the following statement: I believe it is a good thing that certain stores close on Black Friday.
The source provided survey respondents with additional information: when asked whether they agreed with the statement on whether or not it is a good thing that certain stores closed on Black Friday, they were told that certain stores were closing for "Green Friday", an event that aims to focus on sustainability rather than consumption.
