According to a survey conducted in April 2023, 52 percent of French respondents were in favor of a four-day working week for equal pay, even if the number of working hours was to remain the same. For 23 percent of respondents, a four-day week was a possibility only if the number of working hours number was to be reduced. Lastly, ten percent of those surveyed were not in favor of this idea.
