A May 2023 survey of internet users in the United States found that three in four individuals between 18 and 29 always or often confirmed online privacy policies on websites without reading them. Furthermore, older generations were less likely to do so. Those aged 65 and older stated that they rarely or never accepted privacy policies without reading them.
