The San Miguel Corporation was the leading spirit producer in the Philippines in 2022, with a market share of about 46 percent. Following by a large margin was Tanduay Distillers Inc., accounting for 24.4 percent of the spirit market.

During the 2022 financial year, its beer segment, San Miguel Brewery, Inc., generated a revenue of approximately 136 billion Philippine pesos, almost reaching pre-pandemic figures. Meanwhile, the company’s spirits segment, Ginebra San Miguel Inc., registered its highest consolidated revenue since 2019. San Miguel Corporation was the third leading food and beverage company in the Philippines in terms of gross revenue generated in 2022.
