According to a survey conducted in October 2022, around 85 percent of French respondents agreed that either a man insisting on having sex with a colleague in exchange for a promotion or a man slapping his partner, were two revolting situations. More than half of those surveyed were also shocked if a man was earning more than his female colleague for an equal position. On the other hand, for a man to refuse to let his partner see other men, was considered less shocking by the respondents, but still, 45 percent of them were revolted by the thought of it.
