Between January and September 2023, compared to the same period of the previous year, drug stores in Italy registered an increase of 12.4 percent in their grocery sales value, outdoing all other types of retail stores. E-commerce, on the other hand, registered an increase in the value of sales of around 7.1 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
