Frontier technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI) or conversational commerce have become important to e-commerce businesses and, in 2024, e-commerce manager operating in Italy gave insight on foreseen investments on the technologies. The majority, more than 40 percent, plan on making new investment, while 21 percent plan on making ordinary management investments in the area.
