According to a survey conducted in South Korea in late 2022, around 57 percent of respondents stated that they thought legalizing the consumption of cannabis would have the positive effect of increasing tax revenue. About one in three did not agree with this prediction, and only 12 percent were in favor of legalizing recreational marijuana.
