A May 2023 survey of internet users in the United States found that 63 percent of respondents 65 years and older wrote their passwords down to remember them. On the contrary, the younger generations save passwords in their browser. Almost half of the users between 18 and 29 claimed that was their preferred way of remembering passwords. Furthermore, around a quarter of respondents of the same age group said they reset passwords.
