Myopia glasses are the most commonly purchased eyewear by Chinese consumers. Approximately 81.6 and 74.1 percent of male and female consumers in China reported buying myopia glasses in 2021. Additionally, more than 50 percent of female consumers have previously purchased contact lenses, compared to only 37.7 percent of male consumers.
