In December 2022, a survey in selected markets across the world found that among the roughly two-thirds of respondents who were interested in using autonomous shuttles, a little under half were interested in the cost advantage while a little over half were interested because of the positive effect on congestion. Meanwhile, 30 percent of all respondents indicated that they had no interest in using autonomous shuttles.
