According to a survey among South Koreans in 2024 on their perception of preparation for coping with problems caused by artificial intelligence (AI), roughly 60 percent of respondents answered that South Korea is not adequately prepared for such issues. Furthermore, around 21 percent of respondents were uncertain about this matter, with only a fifth replying that South Korea was well-prepared.
