Meanwhile, revenue in the taxi industry is projected to decline from around 24 billion U.S. dollars to under 19 billion U.S. dollars, reflecting the shift towards online sales channels in the shared transport industry.

Taxis include traditional taxi rides booked offline with taxi companies (via street-hailing or by telephone).
