In a survey conducted in South Korea in April 2023 on emotions about the development of artificial intelligence (AI), most respondents answered positive emotions toward AI, such as curiosity and expectations, at a 81 percent and 77 percent response share, respectively. On the flip side, 58 percent of respondents replied that they feel fear of AI, and 34 percent perceived AI as hostile.
